Wisdom In Leadership and the Strategic Power of the Pause
Wisdom in Leadership
The ancient Celts had a profound understanding of thresholds. They recognized that the most important work often happens in the “space in between.” In our modern, high speed leadership culture, we have lost the art of the pause. We move from one project to the next, one crisis to the next, without ever stopping to check if our roots are still deep enough to support our growth.
This is the philosophy behind my The Space in Between retreat in Scotland. Scheduled for September 14 to 19, this experience is designed for the woman who knows she is at a threshold. Perhaps you are finishing a long tenure at a company, or perhaps you are finally ready to scale your own business. Before you build the next chapter, you must return to your roots. You need a space where you can be quiet enough to hear your own intuition.

We gather in the Scottish countryside not to escape reality, but to face it with fresh eyes. Scotland has always been seen as a place of “thin places,” where the veil between what is and what could be is at its thinnest. Through yin yoga, creative writing, and excursions, we create the conditions for a strategic recalibration. You cannot solve a complex professional problem in the same environment that created it. You need the distance that only a dedicated retreat can provide.
This is a week for the woman who is tired of the hustle and ready to break free from the routine. It is about moving from a state of constant reaction to a state of calm, bold intention. We have only five spaces remaining for this September journey.
